Storytelling in Textiles Exhibition

The Martin Group and Cambridge Art Association proudly present Storytelling in Textiles, a fiber art exhibition featuring artists living and working in New England today. Opening during Boston Design Center’s fall market, the exhibition is inspired by our designers, who use fabric, trim, and other textile-based traditions to translate client stories into beautiful, functional living spaces. Art plays a vital role in the design process. With this show, we seek to celebrate artists who also use textiles to tell a story.

See the Latest from Jane: Timeless Fabrics from Jane Shelton

Jane Shelton never set out to become a fabric designer. What started as a passion for design and a desire for better fabrics became a boutique fabric house. Jane finds inspiration in patterns, artifacts, and objects – then translates them to fabric as a medium, envisioning shapes and hues within the flow and fall of the material.

The Martin Group invites you to meet Jane, discover her latest inspirations, and see the Spring collection in person on Thursday, May 16, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
